Improve the constancy and experience across all their digital platforms. Providing tools and guidelines to assist in standardizing branding, interactions, and visual styles.

Solution

Work with Guy Carpenter in centralizing existing assets and styles. Then create interaction guidelines, digital branding style guide and accompanying CSS (done by developer). Standardizing look and feel, laying down foundation for consistency and brand compliance.

Role

Sr. UX Designer, responsible for all user experience design activities, creating all UX deliverables as well as organizing design sessions and presentations with the client and working with the Developer to insure CSS was aligned with the UX deliverables.

Digital Branding styleguide

Comprehensive guidance of colors, font styles, components, page elements, and breakpoint grids, the style guide was aimed to be cover all their digital platforms. This was delivered as a XD file with a dev spec link for ease of use, a PDF was also provided for reference.

Interaction Guidelines

The interaction guidelines touch upon some basic UX concepts such as how to orient the user, information hierarchy, displaying complex information and other best practices, As well as providing specific interaction techniques and how best to use them. This accompanied by the digital branding style guide provided a strong foundation for Guy Carpenters digital platforms.
